About the Project
"Founded to make performance a catalyst for awareness, engagement, and action."
Laughing Impact designs and produces the civic framework that surrounds live performance events, connecting audiences with grassroots organizations and practical ways to get involved. Each show remains an independent creative work owned by its creators, while Laughing Impact manages outreach partnerships, event logistics, and supporting resources.
Through agreements with participating artists, we also prepare and share select media (short video segments and related materials) from these events with civic and educational partners. This helps grassroots organizations extend the impact of their work beyond the venue and into wider public awareness.
Founded by Matt Davis, a performer and producer with more than 25 years of international touring and collaboration experience, Laughing Impact exists to make performance a catalyst for awareness, engagement, and action.
